Terms of Service

By using TrendMetric you agree to these Terms. Research scores and forecasts are informational. Cancel anytime; paid periods are quoted at checkout in USD.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to TrendMetric at TrendMetric.io and https://trendmetric.io. By creating an account, starting a checkout, or using the workspace, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use TrendMetric for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The product
TrendMetric is a software-as-a-service research workspace. Live features include Trending Products, Trending Markets, Who’s Scaling, AI Market Analysis, Forecast (on catalog products and markets), Tracked, and Projects. VolumeScore™, MarketScore™, demand, growth, competition, seasonality, estimated revenue / TAM, and forecast ranges are informational research signals. They are not financial advice, inventory advice, advertising advice, or a promise of sales, profit, or ROAS. Features that are marked Coming Soon (including Spy on Store, Search Product outside the catalog, Track Forecast, public Free Tools, Affiliate, Blog publishing, Academy courses, and email alerts) are not part of the live service. We may ship, change, or withdraw them without notice.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under the account. We may suspend or terminate access that is abusive, fraudulent, or that attempts to extract catalog data at an unreasonable rate, bypass payment, scrape the service, reverse engineer non-public systems, or interfere with other users.
4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Paid access is sold as Starter, Pro, and Business plans in USD. You may choose monthly, quarterly (billed every three months), or annual billing. Displayed “per month” amounts on quarterly and annual plans are monthly equivalents; the amount charged each cycle is the cycle total quoted at checkout. Checkout is processed by a third-party payment processor. Taxes, currency conversion, and processor fees may apply as shown at checkout. A limited regional promotional discount may be applied at quote time based on a country code supplied by our hosting platform. Catalog country pickers do not change the price. Unless required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable once a paid period has started. You may cancel to stop the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period then expires. Past-due or expired entitlements may lose paid workspace access. We do not guarantee an Enterprise plan, custom contracts, or seats beyond what the live checkout offers.
5. License to use the workspace
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access TrendMetric for your internal research during a valid paid or permitted session. You may not resell the catalog, copy the product to build a competing dataset, or republish substantial extracts of demand history, scores, or market snapshots. You keep rights to notes and project names you type. You grant us a license to host that workspace data solely to provide the service.
6. Research data and no professional advice
Catalog rows, scores, forecasts, and estimated revenue are derived from stored research data and models. Availability, coverage, and freshness vary. Country figures use stored country volumes. Parent and submarket revenue is never added together. TrendMetric does not invent missing months on the monthly board. You remain solely responsible for buying inventory, running ads, launching products, or advising clients. Nothing in the product is a guarantee of outcomes.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest, or bulk-export the catalog beyond normal interactive use; (b) probe, scan, or attack the service; (c) share logins; (d) upload unlawful content in notes; (e) use the service to violate advertising platforms’ or retailers’ terms; or (f) misrepresent TrendMetric scores as audited financials or observed store checkout data.
8. Intellectual property
TrendMetric, TrendMetric.io, the TM mark, VolumeScore™, MarketScore™, and the site design are identifiers and works associated with the TrendMetric product. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Third-party services
Sign-in, hosting, and payment processing are provided by third parties. Their terms apply to their services. TrendMetric is not responsible for outages or policies of those providers beyond our reasonable control.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRENDMETRIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SCORES, FORECASTS, OR REVENUE ESTIMATES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRENDMETRIC AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR AD SPEND, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TRENDMETRIC FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE PLACES OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold harmless TrendMetric from claims, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel renewal at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, non-payment, or risk to the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (including licenses to hosted notes as needed for backups, disclaimers, and limitations) survive termination.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel renewal.
