[ VolumeScore™ ]

A product opportunity score you can sort, then inspect

VolumeScore™ is a 0–100 product demand analysis rank on every Trending Products row. It compresses stored search demand, growth, series consistency, competition, seasonality, and momentum so you can sort the catalog before you open a single product. It is a research starting point, not a prediction of revenue, inventory sell-through, or ad ROAS.

  • Fixed weights so two catalog products share the same scale
  • Shown as a ring and a number next to volume, growth, and competition
  • Available on Starter, Pro, and Business — same catalog, same score

VolumeScore™

58/100

Oval Makeup Brush

76.0K/mo search volume

  • Demand25% weight

Log-scaled monthly search volume as a quality-of-interest signal.

  • Growth20% weight

Blend of 30-day and 90-day growth so spikes do not dominate.

  • Consistency15% weight

Inverse volatility of the 12-month series.

  • Competition15% weight

Lower crowding scores higher; high density is a penalty.

  • Seasonality10% weight

Year-round demand scores higher than sharp calendar dependence.

  • Momentum15% weight

Recent three months versus the prior three on the same series.

Weights are the scoring recipe. The ring is the live composite when a catalog product is available — not a sales prediction.

What goes into the 0–100 rank

Demand uses log-scaled monthly search volume. Growth blends 30D and 90D so a short spike does not dominate. Consistency penalizes a noisy series. Competition rewards a less crowded field. Seasonality prefers steadier year-round demand over a sharp calendar peak. Momentum compares recent months with the prior stretch on the same series.

Those factors are weighted and clamped to 0–100. You should still read the raw columns. A high score with High competition is a different decision than a mid score with Low competition and clean growth.

How to use it in product demand analysis

Sort Trending Products by VolumeScore™ when you want a first pass. Then filter by volume and growth so you are not ranking tiny series. Open the product to see the sparkline and country volumes.

Forecast is a separate demand range from stored history. Tracked is a separate watch list. Neither replaces the score, and the score does not replace a test.

What VolumeScore™ will not do

It will not tell you contribution margin, creative fatigue, or whether a supplier can ship. It will not score a keyword that is not in the catalog. It is not MarketScore™ — that rank belongs to markets, not products.

When a 0–100 score helps

First-pass ranking

Sort the catalog by VolumeScore™, then inspect the top rows instead of opening products at random.

Explain a pick

Show a teammate the ring plus growth and competition so the score is not a black box.

Watch a score over time

Track the product. Later 7D / 30D change is measured from the day you saved it — the score itself remains a snapshot rank.

For anyone doing product demand analysis who wants one comparable number on catalog rows — operators, researchers, and agencies who will still read the inputs.

VolumeScore™ FAQ

Is VolumeScore™ a guarantee a product will sell?+

No. It is a 0–100 research rank from stored demand, growth, competition, seasonality, and related inputs. It is not a sales, inventory, or ROAS prediction.

Is this the same as MarketScore™?+

No. VolumeScore™ ranks catalog products. MarketScore™ ranks markets and submarkets in Trending Markets.

Can I score a keyword that is not in the catalog?+

Not yet. VolumeScore™ only exists on catalog products in Trending Products. Search Product outside the catalog is not live.

Does a higher score always mean lower competition?+

No. Competition is one input. Strong demand can still produce a high score in a crowded field. Read the competition column.

Which plans include VolumeScore™?+

Starter, Pro, and Business all include VolumeScore™ on Trending Products.
