Track products and markets from the day you start watching

Tracked is TrendMetric’s personal watch list for catalog products and markets. Snapshots start when you save an item. 7D and 30D change only count history after that date. If there is not enough history yet, the workspace says so instead of inventing a prior baseline. That is ecommerce trend monitoring tied to your decision date — not a retroactive chart.

  • Products and markets from the live catalog
  • Change windows measured after you track, never before
  • Plan caps: 12 / 50 / 200 items on Starter / Pro / Business; optional emails on paid plans

Tracked is the watchlist for: Trending Products, VolumeScore™, Forecast.

Why the start date matters

If a tool shows 30D change from before you cared, you are reading someone else’s clock. Tracked stores the day you saved the row. Until enough snapshots exist, 7D or 30D stays incomplete on purpose.

That makes retainer reporting and personal watch lists easier to defend. You can say “we started watching on this date” instead of backfilling a baseline you never recorded.

What you can track — and what you cannot yet

Catalog products and markets are live. Store tracking is reserved in the workspace but is not a research surface yet; Spy on Store remains Coming Soon. Forecast moves cannot be tracked as their own alert product.

Pair Tracked with Projects when a set of items shares a thesis and a country. Tracked is the watch list. Projects is the folder and notes.

Notifications without a surprise inbox

Paid accounts can opt in, in Settings, to emails when tracked products or markets move in a meaningful way, plus a weekly digest. Each account has one delivery address. Every email includes unsubscribe. You can turn this off.

Tracking metrics from save date

Tracked since

The date you saved the product or market — the start of the change clock.

7D / 30D change

Only after enough snapshots exist from that date. Otherwise the UI says history is insufficient.

VolumeScore™ / MarketScore™

Current research scores from the catalog, not a second tracking score.

Demand / volume labels

Stored demand display for the saved subject.

Last update

When the catalog last refreshed the row you are watching.

Caps

12, 50, or 200 tracked items on Starter, Pro, and Business.

When to save a product or market

Watch a product after a test

Track it the day you decide it matters so later change is measured from that day.

Monitor a market

Save a Trending Markets row and come back to 7D / 30D once snapshots exist.

Digest, don’t live-refresh

Opt in to Tracked emails on a paid plan if you want movement summaries without sitting in the dashboard.

For operators and agencies who need product and market tracking with an honest start date — not retroactive charts and not store-level spying.

Tracked items FAQ

Does 30D change include history from before I tracked?+

No. 7D and 30D only count snapshots after the track date. If there is not enough history yet, TrendMetric says so instead of inventing a baseline.

Can I track any store URL?+

No. Store tracking is not a live research surface. Spy on Store is Coming Soon. You can track catalog products and markets.

Is there a usage limit?+

Yes. Tracked is capped at 12 items on Starter, 50 on Pro, and 200 on Business.

Will I get emails automatically?+

Only if you opt in on a paid plan in Settings. Each account has one delivery address, and every email includes unsubscribe.

How is this different from Forecast?+

Forecast is a future demand range on a catalog subject. Tracked is a watch list whose change windows start when you save the row. Track Forecast is not live.
